How photography can show women’s value

A terrific talk by Annie Griffiths on how photography can show women’s value. She was one of my idol and motivation to work on women empowerment. Her talk touched to my heart and soul.

Photographer Annie Griffiths speaks at the 2016 Skoll World Forum Opening Plenary. One of first women photographers for National Geographic, Annie shares beautiful pictures and says she has photographed women in 150 countries. “I am saddened that we underestimate these women,” she shared with the audience of mostly social entrepreneurs. “So I started to focus on underreported stories. If we want women to be valued, we have to show their value.”

She also talk at many world event such as TED Talk and National Geographic expert photography tip. She’s also a author of a new book at NatGeo “Simply Beautiful”. Look at her talk on TEDx, amazing.
